Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles, is reported to be in line for another real-life role: former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
The planned biopic would cover Tyson’s rise and his turbulent career, including his infamous 1997 rematch with Evander Holyfield. No director, studio or release date has been announced.
Foxx has shown he can disappear into a famous figure, and a project like this would give the comedian-turned-dramatic-actor another chance to prove it.
